Sam Medical

SAM IO

SAM IO is an intraosseous access system operated manually. Catheter placement is accomplished by continuously actuating (squeezing) the driver trigger assembly while gently guiding the needle assembly into place. When the trigger is repeatedly activated, it creates a rotary twist of the needle assembly that, when combined with gentle downward pressure, results in controlled placement of the IO.

By standardizing the number of reel turns required, SAM XT’S innovative design simplifies and speeds up product training and allows for intuitive use.

Through its TRUFORCE™ buckle technology, SAM XT eliminates nearly all slack in its tourniquet by automatically locking with a predetermined amount of circumferential force. Simply click, twist and secure for a survival tourniquet application.
